Creating a skin care routine that is going to leave your skin looking healthy, and feeling fabulous may seem complex – but it doesn’t need to be! Today I want to share professional secrets on how to get that perfect glow.
The first step – cleansing! Cleansing both morning AND night is the most important thing you can do for your skin, as it will help to remove your makeup, dirt, and any debris and will prevent breakouts from occurring! We know it can get confusing in choosing the right cleanser, but I suggest you choose one that fits your skin type. For example, if your skin is oily or combination choose a gel or mousse cleanser If it is drier, use a creamy cleanser.
The second step is toning! Toning helps to balance your skin’s PH, which can be altered after using a cleanser and it will and it will provide a second cleansing for your skin.
After cleansing & toning, you’ll need to exfoliate, but only twice a week! Why do we exfoliate? This is because our skin naturally builds up dead skin cells. Exfoliating is going to help remove dead skin cells and reveal fresher skin!
The last step to your routine – hydrating & moisturizing! This is key to youthful skin! Start with a serum and follow with a moisturizer. What’s the difference? A serum is a multivitamin supplement for the skin – delivering a wealth of vitamins, minerals and trace elements and amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins necessary for a youthful glow. A moisturizer will help to lock in the essential moisture, and prevent your skin from being dehydrated. It will also help protect your skin against environmental damage, especially if it has zinc.
And of course – do not forget targeted care! Do you see dark circles or puffiness around your eye area? No matter what age you are this can happen to us all! You should use eye cream or eye gel that prevents crow’s feet and wrinkles from forming!
